Badjura Custom Cork Floats

Fred Badjura is a revered figure in the realm of British Columbia steelhead fishing. He began crafting custom cork floats and selling them from his car along the Thompson River in the early 1950s. Fred's floats quickly gained legendary status in the region, much like Fred himself. As a former Director of the BC Federation of Drift Fishers, Fred dedicated his entire life to the pursuit of steelhead fishing.

Following in his father's footsteps, Brian Badjura learned the art of float making and carries on the tradition to this day. While cork floats can be found in most major tackle shops, the quality of Badjura floats sets them apart. Each float is meticulously handcrafted in British Columbia, adhering to the exacting standards established over 70 years. Brian offers floats ranging from 2 grams to 40 grams, and his reputation as a skilled craftsman is matched only by his amiable personality.

Thank you for reading and have the best day ever.
